The voices echoing through time from former and current students, dedicated teachers, and esteemed guests who have been part of our transformative programs since 2002 paint a vivid tapestry of shared experiences and profound insights.

“At Space Camp Türkiye you can do many things involved with space, well, that's why its called "Space Camp". I had a great experience there. Every day you learnt something new about "space". And you would not only learn about simulators that astronauts train in before going into space, but you actually get to go in them yourself and experience how it feels in space. There you meet people from all over the world and make friends that you will never forget. Also in your free time you can take part in many different games. I recommend Space Camp Türkiye to anyone that's up for some adventure.“ August 2018
“As a past FEP student, I had the privilege of gaining and learning skills that allowed me to succeed in many ways. Not only academically, the program allowed me to gain teamwork skills that's more advanced than what my grade supplied me with. I had the opportunities to learn about space and all its wonders in many ways, I got to create projects with my peers in various grades and explore many innovative and advanced ways in doing my work. While working in ways to have our knowledge be reflected on our projects, I never realized until now how much I have learned about astronomy and space! Without FEP, I never would have found my passion and interest in space and astrophysics. It truly was a wonderful experience learning and actually having to have hands on projects that made us feel as if we were above our grade levels. The most fun part for me was that we got to use science and our imagination, which is so unique. In differing ways of how we learned from experiments, models, sketches, presentations and adds, I've grown over the course. One of my personal favorites was when we used Green Screen to do a commercial about a vacation that we planned accordingly to the conditions of planet Saturn. Not only learning about Saturn’s interesting qualities, we got to create a vacation with everything included! We created life kit packs, items, games, activities and even payment methods! I never could have imagined how much self esteem I have gained with FEP too. I honestly loved the course that I took it two years in a row and even worked with my group mates to create and learn more! I assure you and guarantee that unlike any other course, FEP is the one that not only will be fun but will also change you in so many great ways that even you will be surprised of. I'm very thankful for all that I have gained, experienced and learned from the course. I can't forget that I got to meet more people that shared my interest and became close friends with. Without FEP, I think that I would never have had the privilege of knowing how fun and incredible astronomy truly is especially with your friends.” February 2018
"My Space Camp Türkiye adventure was so overwhelming that I am still processing my experience. I learned so many new things about space and science - we created our own rockets and launched them, learned how the astronauts grow vegetables in space and also participated in a special mission with the Discovery shuttle. I had some knowledge about the rockets, the astronauts, the ISS but learned more from the Space Camp counselors and also enjoyed the video call with Mr. Ed Van Cise, NASA Flight Director. Space Camp Türkiye will always be one of my special memories and I feel grateful for the opportunity to learn new things, meet new friends and make a step forward to make my dreams come true." “Hello! My name is Tatyana, I am 15 years old and I am from Bulgaria. I was 7 years old, when I found that I don’t want to be the same as the children with whom I go to school, play games or just pass through them on the street. I wanted to be unique. The most unique thing I found was space, so that is why I am in love with every single star in this Universe. Space Camp is the shortcut to the Space. You can make your dreams come true, you can try simulators and maybe for one moment you can imagine or believe in yourself that you CAN go out of this planet. You can be an astronaut! I am really thankful to everyone, who helped me to be part of Space Camp and this magic! If you want to become a cosmic child, Space Camp is the place!” FES Week Outstanding Camper Award Winner.” August 2018

Thank you Space Camp Türkiye!!!!” July 2017
"It is evident that when PSSP is embedded into the curriculum and giving the time that it deserves students can excel on their expectations. They have presented very interesting and creative presentations which were also informative and motivational." March 2017
"I found this experience like a dream come true. This camp is fun, educational, interesting and unforgettable. I was able to have an amazing time at Space Camp, hanging out with my new friends as well as enjoying each moment I had there. I would not have known about astronomy, constellations or satellites if I didn’t believe that Space Camp is the right place for me." July 2016
"One of my favourite things at Space Camp was the stimulators as they were extremely fun but also very educational at the same time. Another reason why Space camp was a wonderful place is because it helped me make friends from around the world that I couldn’t have met before." July 2016
"The kids are already in email contact with a number of their new friends in a number of countries - their eyes have been opened to new cultures, new people, and new experiences!" August 2015
"I built a global friendship here. I made many friends from all over the world. Although sometimes we can't communicate well, our hearts became closer day by day... Space Camp Türkiye provided me a really great chance to excite and engage me in the fields of science and technology. I think things I learned here will help me for the rest of my life." August 2015
"I have been very happy to have been awarded a scholarship to Space Camp Türkiye... My friendship with other teenagers from around the world is something I will always treasure." July 2015
"I’m really grateful that I can be here at the Space Camp. I can meet new friends and their cultures. Thank you for all the activities which help me to learn a lot of new things and have fun. One year ago I could only dream about Space Camp but now I’m here. I can’t believe it. Thank you for scholarship and all that you gave me this week." August 2013
"Taking part in this space camp is marvelous: I think that this experience can help me in the future... I think this is something that happens once in a life¬time! I would like to learn more technical and space things and then, share them with my friends, who may not have the chance to participate in this camp." August 2013
"Three summers ago a team from China was at Space Camp Türkiye with the group from Athens. A member of our group, Sevasti Yfanti, won the “Right Stuff” Award that week and we were very proud of her. Over the course of the week, she befriended one of the boys from China and for the past three years they have continued communicating via Facebook and Skype. Sevasti’s mother is an English teacher and a correspondence began between the parents as well. In the summer of 2013, the family from China will be visiting Greece with their son and the two families will spend time together…and Space Camp Türkiye was the impetus that brought these two young people and two families from two different cultures together for a lifelong friendship….This is the real mission of the Global Friendship Through Space Education program…the creation of lifelong friendships."April 2012
"The Space Camp Türkiye was the most exciting adventure in my life. I have learnt there lots of amazing facts about Space and I have met people from all over the world, from: Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, France and Türkiye. I keep in touch with all the members of my team - The Moon Team. My favourite activity at Space Camp was rocket & balloon construction. The simulators were cool as well. The most challenging experience was the mission. Luckily it was successful. Although I'm an individualist I really liked the teamwork. I will never forget that trip." August 2011
“Thank you so much for everything. We had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was incredible. Our students had several “firsts” through this experience – plane rides, simulators, dorms, the beach. This will change their lives forever. Thanks for what you guys do for children. I’m glad my students got to benefit from your hard work and your successful program. They couldn’t quit talking about it on the way home. They were so cute with the NYC students at JFK; they hated to leave each other. Thanks again,” July 2011
"Children are our future. We are obligated to provide every opportunity for them to see the world we live. The Space Camp Türkiye attracts teenagers from Türkiye and other countries getting together to foster friendship and learn knowledge on space, thus making unremitting contributions to the progress of humankind. We thank the camp for its courage, generosity and commitment. We wish the camp greater success in the future." August 2010
"I learned that even though we are all different, we are still equal. It was the best time I ever had." July 2008
"Although our students come from different cultures, children are children all over the world." July 2008
"Some people talk about the problems with science education and international relations. Others take action. Your actions….. make a difference in so many children’s lives." July 2008
"I piloted the Partner School Science Program at my school, Browne Academy in Alexandria, Virginia, last year. My students were excited to feel a part of something larger than their own small world." July 2008
"…In addition you can learn to dream beyond your horizons and gain valuable friends who are like you. You can learn what you can do at Space Camp from the Internet. I would like to explain to you importance of the camp. Most young people abandon their dreams during adolescence and try to adapt their plans to the cruel world with a limited vision. Their minds are fully confused and they have doubts that there is a common denominator to what they want and what life will bring. Because of this, young people cannot go to the high school of their choice. They fail in university exam; even though pass the exam they don’t know which major is proper for them; they choose their major like choosing fruits from the grocery store... Ok, what does all of this have to do with Space Camp? I will answer this question by taking myself as an example. Space Camp started in June 2000. I attended Space Camp (in 2003) with seven friends of mine with the great support of one of our wonderful teachers. Those days our friendship became stronger. Even though we live in different cities we still visit each other so often. I was a regular (public) high school student; to be honest I was pushing back my university dreams to keep myself away from dreams which will never come true. Competing at the same exam with the students from Anatolian High Schools, Science Schools and Private Colleges was a dream not just for me but also for most of my teachers. That summer going to space at Space Camp, sitting in the same (shuttle) seat as the smartest people at NASA, and seeing that dreams can come true if you really want them to, gave the most precious lesson to me in my life: “To respect my dreams”. To make this happen is not as easy as to write about it, but I can tell you for sure that the adventure we lived in those days changed my and my friends’ lives completely. All of my friends, and, of course, I also passed the university exam and got the major we wanted. I have chosen the major which was unrealistic for most of people around me: I was looking for a job which could overlap with my dreams so I didn’t hesitate to choose it. Now I am dreaming to be successful and I will. The purpose of this letter is to fulfill an obligation. Maybe you are a child, maybe you have a child or you can help a child and do something for him. I would like to remind you that being able to attend Space Camp was not simply luck. I would like to thank my teacher Mrs. Zeynep Uluer and ask you to think what else can be more valuable than giving the power to make dreams come true.” April 2008
"...the chance to visit Space Camp and experience all the events were like a dream come true…. Just meeting the rest of the teachers and connecting with one another was a very moving experience for me." July 2008
