Halime Büyükyüksel, after completing her education in Tourism and Hotel Management and gaining experience in the hospitality sector, joined Space Camp Türkiye. and ESBAŞ in 2000. She has held leadership roles overseeing the Corporate Communications Unit, the ESBAŞ Child Care Center and the company’s sustainability strategies, and in 2026, she was appointed Director of Space Camp Türkiye. . Büyükyüksel has led pioneering projects in women’s employment, gender equality, environmental awareness, and inclusive business models. In addition, she serves as Co-Chair of the Communications Committee for the Business Against Domestic Violence (BADV) project and as a Board Member of the Izmir Branch of the Association of Economic Journalists, actively contributing to civil society initiatives.
Ms Subasi, who graduated with honors from the Department of Astronomy and Space Sciences at Ege University, commenced her career at Space Camp Türkiye. . From 2001 to 2012, she held the position of Program Supervisor within the Operations Department. Thereafter, she assumed the pivotal role of Supervisor within the Education Development Department, a post she occupied from 2012 to 2018. Endowed with the titles of Microsoft Innovative Educator and LEGO MINDSTORMS Educator, Ms. Subasi is responsible for developing all program and activity content at Space Camp Türkiye. . Between 2018 and 2022, she served as the Supervisor of the Education Outreach Department. In 2022, she also assumed the role of team leader, managing the GFTSE scholarship programs. Initially serving as a Program Supervisor within the Operations Department from 2001 to 2012. Subsequently, she took charge as the team leader of the Educational Outreach Department. Ms. Subasi earned the title of Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator during her tenure from 2012 to 2018. Her passion for robotics also led her to attain the LEGO MINDSTORMS Educator certificate. Since 2018, she has held the position of supervisor for the Educational Outreach Department at Space Camp Türkiye
Mr. Siper holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Celal Bayar University and Business Management from Anadolu University. Mr. Siper commenced his trajectory as a part-time counselor at Space Camp Türkiye in 2015, a role he held for three years. Subsequently, he transitioned to the position of Program Specialist, contributing an additional 2.5 years to the organization. Following his stint as a Planning and Scheduling Specialist for two years, Mr. Siper returned to Space Camp Türkiye as "Distance Learning Expert" in 2022. Today, Mr. Siper is working as a Distance Learning Expert at Space Camp Türkiye.
