Since 2016, Global Friendship Through Space Education and the Future Explorers Program have united classrooms worldwide by fostering a shared passion for space science and exploration. Through the utilization of NASA-endorsed educational materials and project-based teaching methodologies, we aim to enhance communication and cultivate a deeper understanding of the wonders of the cosmos.
Program Components:
- Collaborative Project-Based Research: Engage in research projects, utilizing NASA-based learning materials to explore the realms of space science.
- Videoconferencing and Facilitation: Experience interactive learning through videoconferencing facilitated by our state-of-the-art Digital Learning Centre. This platform allows students to showcase their work and models to the Distance Learning Expert.
- FES Week: Participation in optional FES Week, a special summer session at Space Camp Turkey. This immersive experience adds a dynamic dimension to the program, allowing students to participate in space-related activities.
- Special Guest Engagements: Elevate the learning experience with the presence of special guests, including astronauts and NASA scientists, at FES Week. These distinguished personalities offer inspiring presentations and engage in intimate meet-and-greet sessions, time permitting.
The key aim of the program:
- Fostering Curiosity in Math and Science: Cultivate students interest in mathematics and science by engaging them in collaborative research and hands-on scientific activities.
